The 9th China International Import Expo (CIIE) will take place from 5 to 10 November 2026 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. The Business Exhibition features six major zones — Automobile and Smart Mobility, Medical Equipment and Healthcare Products, Intelligent Industry and Information Technology, Consumer Goods, Food and Agricultural Products, and Trade in Services — plus an Innovation Incubation Special Section, spanning over 360,000 square metres.

Since its launch in 2018, the CIIE has attracted participants from over 180 countries, regions and international organisations, generating more than USD 580 billion in intended transaction value and welcoming 6 million visitors across eight editions.

Northern Ireland businesses in whiskey, agri-food, professional services and other sectors are encouraged to explore exhibiting or attending. For details, visit www.ciie.org or contact the Chinese Consulate General in Belfast.
