On March 4, Consul General Li Nan visited the Methodist College Belfast in the UK, Northern Ireland and met with the principal, Mrs. J Lendrum, to exchange views on deepening educational exchange and cooperation.
Consul General Li pointed that in recent years, the cooperation between China and NI in the field of education has become increasingly close, and achieving fruitful results. The Consulate General is willing to strengthen exchanges with Methody and jointly explore diverse mechanisms for educational and cultural exchange, providing young people in NI with more perspectives on China and the world.
Lendrum introduced the history and development of Methody, and general situation of the international students, expressing her willingness to deepen cooperation with the Consulate General to support the Methody's multicultural development.
Before the meeting, Consul General Li, was accompanied by student representatives to tour the campus to learn about the development of student clubs, the library, and other aspects of the college.
