Consul General Li Nan Attended 2025 "Happy Chinese New Year" Events.

From February 5th to 6th, the "Happy Chinese New Year" activities were held in Belfast City Hall, Grand Central Station, Grosvenor Grammar School in Northern Ireland. Consul General Li Nan, Belfast Lord Mayor Cllr. Micky Murray, Director of  of Arts Development of ACNI Ms. Gilly Campbell, Principal of Grosvenor Grammar School Dr. Frances Vasey and others guests attended.

Consul General Li said that this year is the first Spring Festival after the application for World Heritage, and it is also the first full scale "Happy Chinese New Year" celebration event after the pandemic in NI. The Spring Festival is the oldest and most important traditional festival in Chinese culture. It contains the pursuit of aspirations for peace, harmony and harmony. From the "Chinese New Year" to the "World Year", it has become a world-renowned intangible cultural heritage treasure and a global event for celebration and sharing joy. We hope that more and more people in Northern Ireland will like the Spring Festival, embrace Chinese culture, and devote themselves to the cause of exchanges and mutual learning between Eastern and Western civilizations.

The Guizhou Acrobatic Troupe presented a series of audio-visual feasts that combined acrobatic skills with national culture. The guests all congratulated the Spring Festival and praised the unique charm of Chinese traditional culture.
