On 28 October, Consul General Li Nan visited Raidió Fáilte for an interview and met with manager Cillian Breatnach.
Consul General praised Raidió Fáilte for its significant contributions to enhancing mutual understanding between the two peoples and deepening the friendship between China and Northern Ireland. He encouraged the station to continue to focus on China's development, explore more stories of friendly exchanges, present a true, multi-dimensional, and panoramic view of China, and jointly promoting people to people exchanges and cooperation.
Cillian introduced the history and operation of Raidió Fáilte,and said the radio is willing to expand cooperation with China, so as to further deepen the friendship between the two sides.
Consul General also accepted an interview and answered questions about his impressions of cities in Northern Ireland, the duty of Consulate General in Belfast and cultural exchanges between the Irish and Chinese communities.
