On 21 October, Consul General Li Nan met with David Lyttle, a Northern Ireland musician/drummer, to exchange views on deepening bilateral exchanges and cooperation in the field of music and art.
Consul General spoke highly of Lyttle’s long-term engagement in music exchanges between China and Northern Ireland. He said that music is a universal language of the world. Both China and Northern Ireland have a splendid history and culture, and are proud of their distinctive musical traditions. He encouraged Lyttle to continue to tell the friendly story of China and Northern Ireland through music and deepen the mutual understanding between the two sides.
Lyttle introduced his own artistic creation experiences, saying that he loves Oriental music in Chinese style very much, and looks forward to cooperation with more excellent Chinese musicians.
