On 27 February 2015, Consul General Wang Shuying visited Derry/ Londonderry City and met Mayor Brenda Stevensen and Chief Executive John Kelpie. Both sides held fruitful discussions on cooperation potentials on IT industry, tourism, culture and sports between China and Derry/ Londonderry City.

Wang Shuying also paid visit to local Chinese community and met representatives of relevant Chinese Associations.
