On 25 October 2016, Consul General WANG Shuying met with Minister for Communities of Northern Ireland Paul Givan. She was briefed about the main responsibilities of the Department for Communities and introduced the recent progress on establishment of the Consulate-General as well as new development of friendly co-operations between China and Northern Ireland. Both held positive remarks on the contributions of local Chinese community to economic and social development of Northern Ireland, and exchanged views on enhancing bilateral collaborations on culture and arts, sports and city regeneration, etc.
