On 6 November 2015, Consul General Wang Shuying visited Agri-Food & Biosciences Institute(AFBI) of Northern Ireland. During meeting with Chief Executive Officer Prof Seamus Kennedy and other senior scientists, she was briefed about AFBI’s research in the fields of food science, agri-environment, sustainable agri-food sciences and cooperation with Chinese counterparts, etc. Besides, Consul General Wang Shuying toured the Category 3 Lab, Calf Rearing and Dairy Unit, and Metabolic Chambers of AFBI. Both sides agreed to further strengthen mutual links and work together to promote more exchanges and cooperation in the related areas between China and Northern Ireland.
