Consul General WANG Shuying Visited University of Ulster-Coleraine Campus and Local Enterprises

On May 23, Consul General WANG Shuying visited University of Ulster-Coleraine Campus and met with Vice Chancellor, Paddy Nixon, held discussions with Pro Vice Chancellor Ian Montgomery, Provost Karise Hutchinson, Deputy Mayor James McCorkell, Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council and President Causeway Chamber Murray Bell, etc.

WANG Shuying was briefed about the University’s strong programs and international strategies especially visions of cooperations with China. She highly appreciated the University’s active and pragmatic collaborations with China in recent years, fully recognized the positive contributions made by the Confucius Institutes of Ulster University in promoting Chinese teaching, and bilateral friendly cooperations. She also made a briefing of Chinese Government Scholarship and promised that Chinese Consulate General in Belfast would continue supporting more students exchanges and joint research between Chinese universities and Ulster University.

             

After the tour of pharmacy lab, sports centre of the University, WANG Shuying paid a visit to two local enterprises, Nicobrand and Armstrong, both having growing cooperations with China.
